Jumonville is a great little side attraction. It is in the same vicinity as Laurel Caverns and Summit Inn Resort. This summer Jumonville will celebrate 75 years as a Christian camp. If you stop here make sure you visit the enormous cross on the hill. The view overlooking Uniontown is beautiful. There is also an old chapel which is charming and scenic. Adjacent Jumonville Glen is the site of where the first shot was fired in the French and Indian War. For more information visit www.jumonville.org

When you step inside Bigham's Antique Store you are stepping into a part of Mill Run's history. The building, which is adjacent to Country Seasons Bed and Breakfast, was originally the general store in town. It was built in 1880 and still has the original lumber, wooden counter tops, and the glass cases used to display, among other things, penny candy. The store's first owners lived in our house, which is now the bed and breakfast. The building was purchased in 1970 by Mr. Bill Bigham who ran it as an antique store for 45 years. Bigham's Antiques has long been a favorite stop for travelers through Mill Run. Mr. Bigham operated it as a seasonal business until his death last summer at the age of 86. Now under new management, the building has been given a face-lift and some much needed TLC. The new owners, Paul and Lynette, have been busy cleaning and reorganizing. They are now open for business. So, if your travels take you to or through Mill Run, stop in and browse. Bigham's is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM -5:00 PM.
